I have to give credit where credit is due. As a hack cartoonist, when I need to draw something I usually just steal it from another (more talented) cartoonist. When I needed to draw a fence for this comic, I knew right where to go. I love looking at Jonathan Lemon’s beautifully-drawn strip Rabbits Against Magic. And, as you can see from the example below, I love his backgrounds, including his wooden fences. So I basically ripped him off. But among cartoonists we call that “paying tribute.”
